Mini case study: Bow Arts

Bow Arts is an educational charity based East London who have been sending ‘world class’ artists into schools for 15 years to give school children the opportunity to learn and develop creative skills.

One project saw artists Mark Long and Mark Oliver collaborate with two groups of year 4 children who have been studying the Iron Man by Ted Hughes as well as electricity during their science classes.

The children were given the task to design robots that reflected these two subjects so that they could be transformed into wall stickers that would then decorate their corridor.

After the children had drawn their robots and were illustrated by the artists, the design files were sent to us at Vinyl Impression to check, set up for print and produce.

We handed the design files over to our talented artwork team to set them up for print before passing them through to our production team who would produce the graphics.

We produced the children’s designs onto a permanent wall vinyl, which was then laminated with a protective layer that would guard the print underneath.

After production was complete we packaged up the graphics securely before shipping the box to site ready for our installers to apply the graphics within the corridor.
